Product description
Potassium nitrate (KNO3) is a soluble source of two major essential plant nutrients. It’s commonly used as a fertilizer for high-value crops that benefit from nitrate (NO3-) nutrition and a source of potassium (K+) free of chloride (Cl-).
Potassium nitrate can be used for one or more of the following reasons:
• To prevent the occurrence of nutrient deficiency before the first deficiency symptoms appear. This is especially the case when foliar analysis shows lower nutritional levels than the desired optimum levels.
• To correct nutrient deficiency.
• To increase pest and disease resistance.
• To promote well-balanced fruit and/or plant growth and development, especially in orchards with physiological disorders.
Potassium nitrate can be used as a foliar spray.. The best time to foliar feed is early morning or late evening.
Cucumber/Engplant/Pepper : 10g/liter of water 2-4 appl. during fruit development of plants.
Vegetables: 10g/liter of water 2-4 appl. during active plant growth.
Flowers: 5g/liter of water 3-4 appl. during period of high vegetative growth.
Banana: 20g/liter of water 2-6 appl. at 10 day interval (during fruit development).
Mango: 20-50g/liter of water 3-4 appl. at weekly interval to induce flowering.
10-20g/liter of water 1st at full flowering, 1 and 2 months after flowering (to reduce fruit drop).
Contains:
Nitrogen (N) – 13%, Potassium (K) – 46%
