Coarse Sand or Pasir Kasar is ideal as a base material for concrete slabs or concrete pavers, traction sand for roads and sidewalks, and mixing with topsoil and mulch to create a top dressing material for planting lawns.

 

Note: The color of the sands in the picture is to show the contrast between fine sand and coarse sand. The actual color of these 2 sands are very similar. The best way to differentiate them is to touch them. You can feel that fine sand has smaller particle while coarse sand has bigger particle.

1. Can this sand be used for sand blasting? / Bolehkah pasir ini diguna untuk sand blasting?

Ans: Based on our best knowledge, sand blasting require sands with bigger particle than the coarse sand that we are selling. / Daripada pengalaman kita, sand blasting perlu guna pasir yang mempunyai partikal yang lebih besar.

2. Why I cannot see the difference between the 2 sands? / Kenapa saya tidak dapat membeza pasir halus atau pasir kasar?

Ans: It is quite impossible to differentiate them by looking at it. It is best to touch and notice the particle of the sands. / Pasir halus dan pasir kasar nampak sama tetapi partikal pasir halus adalah lebih kecil daripada pasir kasar.

3. Is the fine sand similar to beach sand? / Adakah pasir halus ini sama dengan pasir pantai?

Ans: No. This fine sand has larger particle than beach sand. / Tidak. Pasir halus ini mempunyai partikal lebih besar daripada pasir pantai.
