Coco peat is a powder of coconut husk fiber, which is a by-product or waste of coconut after processing. It is a pure natural organic medium that is shed from the processing of coconut husk fibers.
The processed coconut bran is very suitable for planting and is currently a popular gardening medium.
Coco peat is a growing medium and normally used for soil amendments.
Itβs made from the husks of coconuts. Itβs a beneficial product for plant growers and provides an alternative growing medium. Itβs used much like sphagnum peat in garden applications.
It increases water retention, aeration and provides antifungal benefits when used alone or incorporated into the soil as an ingredient.
Estimate weight for 1L : 80-300gram (depends on moisture)
