Because the weight of Cocopeat is not constant, it depends on the current level of moisture / wetness.
Uses of Cocopeat :
Cocopeat is used as a plant medium especially in fertigation planting. It is able to absorb and hold water and fertilizer for longer and keep the plant medium always moist. It is also suitable for mixing with normal soil for plants at home such as vegetables, fruits and flowers.
