Dried whole German chamomile flowers have powerful soothing and relaxing properties and an amazing aroma. When properly crushed, it has a tart, powerful apple-like flavor. It's prized for its fruity, floral and slightly bitter taste that is most prevalent when mixed into teas.

Frontier Co-op organic German chamomile is carefully harvested in Croatia. The farmers harvest the flowers when they're fully open to achieve premium results. Frontier Co-op distills all dried chamomile in our laboratory to conduct tests to ensure it is high in quality and balance in the key constituents that contribute to its wellness actions.

Usage: wellness tea, smoothies, lattes, cookies and other baked treats, and as an ingredient in shampoos, conditioners, lotions, bath blends, and other skincare products.

Suggested use: To make tea, add 2 teaspoons of organic whole German chamomile flower in ~240ml of boiling water. Then, cover and steep for about 5-10 minutes. Strain and serve at once.

Personal note: I love my morning chamomile tea made with this organic Frontier German chamomile. I also add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, making it the sweet tea version. In my opinion, its aroma is pear-like, sweet & flowery.
