Botanical name: Urtica dioica L.
Stinging Nettle leaf is a high-quality herb with a pleasant herbaceous taste, slight bitterness and a faint herbaceous aroma. The taste is almost like spinach, with a touch of Italian parsley. The fresh leaves will irritate the skin but the 'stinging' constituents quickly dissipate when the herb is dried.
Frontier organic stinging nettle leaves are picked right before the blossoms bloom to deliver the best leaves possible.

Suggested use: To make tea, add 2 teaspoons of organic cut & sifted stinging nettle leaf in ~240ml of boiling water. Then, cover and steep for about 5-10 minutes. Strain and serve at once.
