Coco peat is a powder of coconut husk fiber, which is a by-product or waste of coconut after processing. It is a pure natural organic medium that is shed from the processing of coconut husk fibers. The processed coconut bran is very suitable for planting and is currently a popular gardening medium.
Cocopeat is a growing medium and normally used for soil amendments. It’s made from the husks of coconuts. It’s a beneficial product for plant growers and provides an alternative growing medium. It’s used much like sphagnum peat in garden applications.
It increases water retention, aeration and provides antifungal benefits when used alone or incorporated into the soil as an ingredient.

COCOPEAT atau Habuk Kelapa merupakan produk yang dihasilkan daripada sabut kelapa (Cocos nucifera) yang diproses untuk pelbagai kegunaan dalam sektor pertanian. Nama 'Cocopeat' di ambil daripada perkataan 'cocoa' iaitu warna dan tekstur habuk seakan-akan serbuk koko iaitu berwarna coklat dan 'Peat' atau bermaksud gambut dimana sifat-sifat produk tersebut seperti tanah gambut.
