Product description
Plastisol Discharge Ink is a discharge paste carrier to be applied with Enviroplus Color Series which mix together with discharge agent and urea as final coat discharge onto dark ground fabric. The principal behind this method is for reduction discharge (strip) off the dyed ground shade and permitted other ink colors to able to reflect its real colors on top of the discharged base. The discharge ink mixture can last until 24 hours to retain similar discharge effect.
Cotton and Blend dyed with vinyl sulfone reactive dyestuff with good to excellent discharging level.
* ALWAYS PRETEST DISCHARGING STRENGTH OF FABRIC BEFORE ACTUAL PRODUCTION
· Mix Plastisol Discharge Ink with Enviroplus CMX Color with 1:1 ratio.
· Add 5% of the discharge agent and 10% of urea into the mixture and stir well.
· Print the image until desired thickness.
· Heat press at 170C for 10 seconds at a pressure of 4 bar or until full discharge.
· Cure at 150 Celcius for 90 seconds at 1500 cfm.
Mesh recommended range from 39 to 77 metric counts. Screen tension not lesser than 25 Newton.
Squeegee hardness at 55 shore hardness is recommended. Medium hard print table is most suitable. It is suggested that a silicon rubber to be placed on top of the printing pellet to improve the printing table hardness.
- Always test the discharge ability of the fabric prior production.
- Keep the first pieces of printed samples to ensure the fabric discharge quality are monitored. Use low squeegee pressure for a maximum ink deposit on fabric.
- Strong odor and wet print are caused by over dosage of discharge agent or insufficient curing. Re-cure your print to overcome this issue.
Printing process of Plastisol Discharge Ink will release odor which can be irritating to some people. Therefore, a good air flow ventilated dryer are recommended. Discharging temperature started at 150C, completion of the discharging plus color polymerization will take about 90 seconds. Minimum airflow recommended are 1500 cfm to ensure the print will not retain bad odors. Always use high speed stirrer to dissolve discharge agent into Plastisol Discharge Ink.
