Smart Super 5400 Wall Sealer Premium Wall Sealer for Interior & Exterior Wall Product Features: >Super Low Odour >Good Adhesion >No Added Lead >No Added Mercury Smart Super 5400 Wall Sealer is a low odour and low VOC water-based wall sealer which is specially formulated for exterior and interior use. It is easy to apply and able to provides better build and adhesion to the substrate. This sealer can be applied on the exterior bare concrete, plastered walls and asbestos to protect the subsequent coats against the effects of alkalinity and moisture from the substrate. Besides, it also provides the finishing coats with excellent efflorescence resistance. Smart Super 5400 Wall Sealer is painted as a primer to protect the subsequent coats against the effect of alkalinity and moisture from the substrate. Surface Preparation General/ New Surface Surface must be sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and wax. (To have a better finish, rub down surface using suitable abrasive and dust off before painting Smart Super 5400 Wall Sealer). Allow all surfaces to dry completely prior to painting. Avoid painting when the moisture content and alkalinity of the walls are still high. (Recommended paintingspecification requires the moisture content of the walls to be below 16% measured by protimeter and alkalinity of the walls to be below pH9.) Previously Painted Remove all loose, defective and unstable paint film or powdery residues by thoroughly brushing and scrapping. High pressure water jet is highly recommended. Treat area affected by mould, lichens, algae and moss with fungicidal wash. Allow substrate to dry completely prior to painting. Avoid painting when the moisture content is >16% and pH>9. Application Data Finishing: Matt Colour: White Touch Dry: 15-20 Minutes. (Dependent on Temperature and Humidity) Hard Dry: 1 Hour (Dependent on Temperature and Humidity) Theoritical Coverage: 10m2/ litre per coat (Actual coverage dependent on substrate condition.) No. of Coats: 1 coat Direction For Use Application: Stir well before use. Application can be carried out by using brush, roller or spraying. Thinning: For best results, do not thin. If necessary, thin up to maximum of 5% of water. Cleaning up: Cleaning all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
