Name: Som Chun ส้มฉุน วัดทรงเสวย "Chao Songchun" fortune-bringing boy

Chainat Province Wat Songshewei "Chao Songchun" fortune-bringing boy Wat Songshewei" is located in Chainat Province, and was built with the help of Luang Phor Suk of Wat Phnom Makantao in Phnom Pakong. King Rama V of Thailand stayed overnight in this temple many times, and the name of Wat Somsangwi was given by King Rama V of Thailand. The book containers left by the fifth king of Thailand are still well preserved in the temple.

 Zhao Songchun was an orphan abandoned by his parents at a young age. He was raised by Luang Pho Kui of Songshewei Buddhist Temple. Songchun was intelligent and had a strong learning ability. He was also very loved by his master.

Later, he drowned in an accident while playing in the river with a group of children. He was only ten years old at the time. This incident made the master and other young monks in the temple very sad.

Since then, many villagers often said that there was often a shadow of a child in the temple or the sound of a child crying coming from the temple. Some people also saw the shadow of a child walking in the temple. They believed that it was Songchun.

 Other young nuns in the temple said that Song Chun would often play tricks on them when they fell asleep, but he was just being naughty and had absolutely no bad intentions.

It is said that Song Chun particularly likes to drink red water, eat candy, and likes elephants and playing slingshots. Therefore, believers often come to the temple to offer red incense, red water, and candy to Song Chun. Some believers also bring red clothes, toy slingshots, elephant sculptures and other offerings to Song Chun.

The villagers believe that offering to Song Chun can bring them stability, wealth and everything goes well. The news spread quickly, and many believers from outside came to light incense and ask Song Chun for good luck.

 Recently, many celebrities have come to the temple to burn incense and worship Song Chun to do good deeds.
