Solder Wick is a great tool used for desoldering.
A solder wick uses high thermal conductivity material as its braid, which is used to soak up the solder for desoldering.
Using a solder wick allows for desoldering even at a lower temperature.
Which greatly reduces the chance to damaging any electronic components.
Instruction:
1. Place the solder wick onto the joint you want to desolder.
2. Apply the hot soldering iron on the wick above the joint, as the solder melts, it will soak up into the solder wick.
3. If required, repeat the process on a fresh area of the solder wick.
