Enrico’s soyamate is a textured vegetable protein (TVP) that is extracted from soya bean flour. Soyamate is an excellent source of high quality protein. In addition,soyamate also has many nutri-tional benefits on health when it is consumed as it is high quality protein, low in saturated fats and is cholesterol free. This soyamate is usually soaked or left in water for few minutes, after that it has to be squeezed dry before cooking.
