Pandan Leaves or Pandanus amaryllifolius and sometimes called screw pine is a tall grass that grows in Asia including Malaysia. Pandan leaves have many culinary uses and healing benefits and have been used for centuries.
Pandan leaves are most known for their soothing, floral scent. After being crushed, the smell mellows out to a more subtle and floral smell. It was for this reason that pandan leaves are used, for it gives a sweeter and pleasant floral aroma addition to the food. Pandan leaves are also widely used in cooking and flavouring. If you are using dried pandan leaves for cooking, soak them in hot water until they are fully hydrated before using. The flavour and aroma of pandan is not as strong as fresh leaves, you may need to increase the portion of dried pandan leaves.

We dry the Pandan leaves with Food Dehydrators (solely for plants) at a low temperature, over few hours to retain the nutrients of the Pandan leaves.
Taste - Pandan leaves have a nutty and green grassy aroma that’s hard to describe, but it’s delightful.
Contains - Pandan leaves contain isoprene esters, tannins, glycosides, and alkaloids, and richly scented essential oils.
1.Place dry leaves in your tea strainer.
2.Pour hot water (100C) into your cup.
3.Cover your tea cup for 10 minutes.
4.Re-steep the tea 2-3 times.
*Store dry leaves in a dark, cool and dry place (better place is store in the fridge)
Best consume within 3 months as the fragrance of the pandan will be decreasing.
Note:Kindly allow 1-2 days to process your order as we only cut the fresh leaves and dry them using dehydrator after receiving your order. This will maximise the freshness of the pandan dried leaves you order. Dried leaves can last up to 6 months but we suggest you consume within 2 months to maximise the benefit of the pandan. It's advisable to keep the dry leaves in the fridge.
*15g of dried leaves are equivalent to 60g of fresh leaves
