Basically, this book describes about the types of herbs used in the preparation of herbal rice among the Siamese community of Kelantan. It also contains herbal names in three languages namely Siamese, Malay and English, in addition to scientific names. There are two components in its content, namely the picture component and the description component. The purpose of the pictures is to give a clearer picture to the readers regarding the shape and colour of the leaves and flowers and fruits of each type of herb used. Meanwhile, in the descriptive component, there are names and one scientific name as well as the brief morphological characteristics and traditional use of these herbs. It is hoped that by reading this book, readers can not only get to know the local herbs commonly used by the Kelantan Siamese community in the preparation of herbal rice but also get information related to other beneficial uses to cure diseases or maintain their health.
