Product description
Sharpening stones (Water stones or Whetstones) are used to sharpen the edges of steel tools and implements through grinding and honing. Though "whetstone is often mistaken as a reference to the water sometimes used to lubricate such stones, the term is based on the word "whet", which means to sharpen a blade, not on the word "wet".

Direction For Use:
1. Combination sharpening stone comes with coarse and fine surfaces. Start sharpening on the coarse side of the stone and finish with the fine side to ensure a clean sharp cutting edge. For best performance, it is recommended to sharpen tools with water and clean the fine sand on the sharpening stone after use.
2. For sharpening knives, hold the blade at a 20º angle and move the blade across the stone surface diagonally. Repeat about 10 times on each side and repeat to switch to the other side of the blade until it becomes sharp.
3. For a clean sharp edge on hoes, spades, shears, clippers and other garden tools, use only the coarse side of the stone.
