With an updated G-SR rubber compound surface for the ultimate grip and our patented Truflight valve, the Atom is a delight to play your school and club rugby with. Essentially, the Atom features the Barbarian rubber outer with the inner construction of the Photon.

As with all Gilbert rugby balls, this hand stitched ball conforms to world rugby specifications and is ready to use straight from the box. The higher the model in the Gilbert Match Ball range, the higher the % of Natural Rubber used in the rubber compound. Natural Rubber offers higher performance for a shorter period of time – hence the “Match” function. Training Balls are made with a higher % of synthetic rubber, which performs at a lower level, but for a longer period of time.

All rugby balls are shipped deflated.
