Product description
Official Malaysia Rugby balls by Gilbert. This range of rugby balls has been fully endorsed by the
Malaysian Rugby Union and will be used by players, coaches and clubs across the entire country. The GTR-3000 will serve as the Official Development Ball of Malaysia Rugby.
The Gilbert GTR 3000 Rugby Ball features the company's newly patented Tri-Grip triangular surface grip pattern. The innovative new grip represents a major step forward in ball grip technology. Tests have shown that this new more defined pattern is hard wearing, and allows players more surface area contact with the ball when handling.
Drawn in-house at Kuckreja, the new Malaysia Rugby Songket series was developed locally in-house at Kuckreja. The design took over a year to complete, and offers charming yet striking elements of Songket design.
The Songket series is designed to be bolder than the former Batik series, which improves on-pitch visibility and performance.
"As in all things of beauty, culture and art, there are no walls; only bridges. We celebrate our cultural diversity as all Malaysians past and present and we articulate and develop it in the lifestyle of our people.
To create, to share, to revitalise. That is the universal language of timeless art, all adapted from the entire cultural landscape of the country and presented totally as ours and that transcends all borders and social, religious and class levels."
