Boots Ingredients Glycolic Acid Toner is suitable to address acne, loss of elasticity, loss of firmness, and fine lines and wrinkles. It has a refreshing formulation.
However, unfortunately this product was made with poor quality ingredients. It can have negative effects on irritated skin, sensitive skin, and redness.
Positive ingredients in the product are: Glycerol is an excellent ingredient. Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), that can reduce the signs of aging and has beneficial effects against acne and enlarged pores. It smoothens and brightens the skin and evens out the skin texture.
However, some of the ingredients can have a negative effect: Glycolic Acid is an AHA that can cause irritations and redness and should be avoided with sensitive skin. Ethylhexyl Glycerin, and Phenoxyethanol can cause allergic reactions.
