Untuk membantu anda memilih pek ais yang mampu mengekalkan suhu sejuk dalam tempoh lama, pertimbangkan perkara berikut:
Berat kandungan gel dalam setiap pek
•Semakin berat, semakin bagus. Untuk iklim tropika yang panas, disarankan memilih pek ais yang mengandungi lebih 300g gel setiap pek
Saiz pek ais
•Untuk jumlah gel yang sama, pek yang lebih besar lebih berkesan berbanding pek yang kecil.Contoh bagi jumlah gel 900g:
3 pek x 300g – LEBIH BERKESAN
5 pek x 180g – KURANG BERKESAN
Arahan Penggunaan:
•Letakkan pek ais secara rata di dalam peti sejuk beku selama 8 jam sebelum digunakan
•Apabila digunakan dalam beg atau kotak penyejuk, letakkan pek ais di atas atau di sisi barangan yang ingin disejukkan
•Untuk hasil terbaik, guna 2 hingga 3 pek untuk mengekalkan susu ibu pada suhu yang sesuai untuk tempoh lebih lama
Kegunaan Disarankan:
•Menyejukkan susu ibu
•Menyejukkan makanan dan minuman (contohnya semasa berkelah atau perjalanan jauh)
•Mengurangkan bengkak akibat kecederaan
•Melegakan sakit kepala atau demam buat sementara waktu
Amaran:
•Hanya untuk kegunaan sejuk sahaja. Jangan letakkan dalam ketuhar gelombang mikro atau alat pemanas lain
•Jika digunakan pada kanak-kanak, pengawasan orang dewasa diperlukan setiap masa

BUYING TIPS:
To help you get the right ice pack that will preserve cool temperature for a long period of time, consider the following:
Weight of gel content per ice pack
- The heavier, the better. For warm tropical climate, it is recommended to pick one with more than 300g of gel in each pack
Dimension of ice pack
- For the same total volume of gel, better to have them packed in bigger sized packs rather than smaller sized packs. E.g. for a total of 900g of gel, consider the following:
3 packs of 300g each - MORE Effective5 packs of 180g each - LESS Effective
Directions:
•Place ice pack flat in freezer for 8 hours prior to each use
•When used in a cooler bag or cooler box, place the ice pack on top or side of items to be cooled
•For optimum results, place 2 to 3 pcs of ice pack to keep breastmilk chilled at ideal temperature for a longer period.
Recommended Use:
•To chill breastmilk
•To chill food and drink (e.g. picnics at the park; long road trips)
•To reduce injury swelling
•Temporary relief of headache or fever
