No Calibration required:
Due to its design, the coffee tamper provides excellent feedback when tamping to help assess your puck prep. We do not use calibrated tampers as they can sometimes tamp too soft and leave air pockets for channeling which leads to frustration and bad coffee! Contrary to popular belief, you cannot tamp too hard. The learned method for a career Barista is to adjust grind size to your tamper, and not the other way around.
