When and How Often Should I Apply?

Gently massage lotion on all the stretch marks prone areas of the body e.g.

abdomen, upper thighs and waist in circular motion, twice a day (in the morning

and at night).

For better result, start applying Pureen Stretch Mark Lotion from 1st month of

pregnancy (before stretch marks occur) and continue until 3 months after

delivery.

 

What are Stretch Marks?

Our skin consists of three layers:

 

Epidermis

The top layer of the skin, locks in moisture and prevents toxins from

entering the body.

Dermis

The second layer of the skin (where stretch marks occur) where collagen

and elastin fibers are produced, giving it a firmer and younger appearance.

Hypodermis

The third layer of the skin which constitutes fat and connective

tissue.

Stretch Marks are tiny tears in the dermis that shows through to the epidermis

(top layer of skin) on the hips, abdomen, breast and upper thighs. It can vary

in colour from light pink to brown.

 

Stretch Marks occur when the skin does not stretch enough to accommodate body

changes during pregnancy, rapid growth and weight changes. This excessive

stretching process breaks down elastin and collagen fibers, causing stretch

marks, loss of tone, fine lines and wrinkles.
