Genmaicha has a more nutty and toasted flavour, i would recommend to add sweetener or sugar syrup. Overall very worth it for the price.. it came in a cute and safe packaging! Thank you seller!

Our Genmaicha comes from Kyoto, Japan where the honest people have been growing teas from the 13th Century. In the process of crafting this umami-laced Genmaicha, a selection of tea leaves appropriate for Matcha are carefully ground and blended with premium Japanese brown rice. The result is a nuanced, roasted flavour delicately balanced by the sweetness of Matcha and savouriness of brown rice.
We recommend using this premium Genmaicha to make a hearty Genmaicha latte or as a quintessentially flavorful baking ingredient.
