Gaviscon Double Action Liquid (Mint) 150mL Product Registration Number: MAL09032031X Gaviscon Double Action Liquid brings relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. It gets to work in two different ways: (1) Neutralizing excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort. (2) Forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in your chest. This product is sugar free and gluten free. Indications: - Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion (also known as dyspepsia). - Relief of symptoms of conditions eg, hiatus hernia and reflux oesophagitis (inflamed food pipe), including symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux such as hoarseness and other voice disorders, sore throats and cough. - Treat symptoms of gastrooesophageal reflux during concomitant treatment with or following withdrawal of acid suppressing therapy. Dosage and Directions For Use: - Adults, including elderly and children above 12 years: 10-20mL (2-4 teaspoons) after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. - Children below 12 years: Not to be given unless recommended by your doctor. - Shake well before use. - Can be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding women. Each 10mL contains: - Sodium alginate BP 500mg - Sodium bicarbonate 213mg - Calcium carbonate 325mg Cautions: - If symptoms persist, consult your doctor's advice. - Each 20mL contains 11.06mmol of sodium. If you have been adviced to follow a low sodium diet, ask your doctor before taking this product. - Do not take if you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients. - 2 hours interval between Gaviscon intake and other medicines. - Store below 30°C. Do not refrigerate. - Use within 6 months of opening.
