Indications /
Uses Relief of flatulence, gas expulsion for gastroscopic & radiographic exam.
Direction for Use 1 tablet four times a day.
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take between meals & at bedtime.
Gascoal Tablet 50mg is used for relief of the painful symptoms of excess gas in the digestive tract.
It is also useful in upper gastrointestinal tract endoscopy to remove foam that can obscure the field vision and is used to reduce gas shadows in radiography.
How Gascoal Tablet 50mg works The anti-foaming action of dimethylpolysiloxane relieves flatulence by dispersing and preventing the formation of mucus-surrounded gas pockets in the gastrointestinal tract.
It acts in the stomach and intestines to change the surface tension of gas bubbles, enabling them to coalesce; thus, gas is freed and eliminated more easily by belching or passing flatus.
How to use Gascoal Tablet 50mg 1 tablet 4 times daily after meal and at bedtime.
May also be taken when required
