Archan Aik Yai started to learn from famous teachers at the age of 20. He followed many orthodox descendants of famous teachers and received the true teachings of his teachers. For example, the eminent monk Luang Po Nu was a disciple of Achan Phong, the supreme master of Thai people. Archan Aik Yai was the third-generation descendant of Achan Phong. He learned the secret method of Achan Phong's people's relationship and the method of supervising the production and blessing of Achan Phong's sacred objects. The number of amulets he made was also very small, so the Thai people were more attracted to the Achan Phong sacred objects supervised by Achan Aik Yai. However, the popularity of amulets is gradually increasing in countries outside Thailand, and the market is also in chaos. In the early years, some new amulet dealers began to discredit Achan Phong's amulets because they could not get Achan Phong's amulets or because of the high prices. At the same time, many imitations also appeared.
Ajahn Aik Yai is the third generation orthodox inheritor of the Ajahn Phong sect.
In addition, the Ajahn Phong sect uses a very special method to bless amulets. It is to pierce the top of one's mouth with a Dharma knife, and use another Dharma knife to knock the handle of the knife pierced in the mouth to make the knife penetrate deeper. Use the blood in the mouth to spray the holy object to be blessed, and finally stick the talisman cloth on the wound with a mantra, and the bleeding will stop immediately. Chanting the mantra and sticking the talisman cloth on the wound will stop bleeding immediately. Another method that Ajahn Aik Yai is good at is the golden needle method. When it comes to the golden needle method, the top master is the monk Luang Phor Phomma. The inheritor of Luang Phor Phomma is the monk Luang Phor Thongsuk, and Luang Phor Thongsuk is the only monk who has performed the golden needle method for the current King Rama IX of Thailand. Luang Phor Thongsuk's direct disciple is the current Thai golden needle master Ajahn Bakhong. Ajahn Aik Yai is Ajahn Bakhong's disciple, so Ajahn's golden needle method is the orthodox inheritor.
