Celtic sea salt also known as sel gris or “French grey salt” is a coarse salt first came from the shores of Brittany, France. It is typically harvested with a moisture content of 15% compared to other sea salts and commercially manufactured salt with moisture less than 1%. Celtic Sea salt emerges from the ancient tradition of evaporating seawater, a process that gives it a unique gray color. As it is less processed in meddling and refining, essential minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium are successfully retained. Celtic sea salt is packed with electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium.
