Indications:

A-zole is indicated for the treatment of single or mixed intestinal helmintic infestations, including pinworm,

whipworm, roundworm, hookworm, tapeworm, trichinosis and threadworm (strongyloides).

Dosage and Administration:

For infestation of pinworm, whipworm, roundworm, hookworm and trichinosis:

-Adults and children above 2 years:

Take 10ml (400mg) as a single dose.

-Children 1 to 2 years:

Give 5ml (200mg) as a single dose.

For infestation of tapeworm and threadworm (strongyloides):

-Adults and children above 2 years:

Take 10ml (400mg) once daily for 3 consecutive days.

-Children 1 to 2 years:

Give 5ml (200mg) once daily for 3 consecutive days.

A second course may be repeated after 2 to 3 weeks if infestations persist or recur.

Active Ingredient:

Each 10ml contains - Albendazole 400mg

Also contains Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (0.2%w/v), Propyl

Hydroxybenzoate (0.05%w/v) and Sodium Benzoate

(0.2%w/v) as preservatives.
