Lemon Cypress also known as Goldcrest. With its bright yellow-green, needle-like foliage and citrusy aroma, it adds a touch of zest to any room. One of the great things about the lemon cypress is that it is an easy plant to care for.
Goldcrest Lemon Cypress Care:
Sunlight:
This plant requires a good amount of light. If you have to keep it indoors, make sure to find a very bright sunny window for it.
Watering:
Watering twice a week or whenever the soil is dry is essential for this plant.
Soil:
The lemon cypress is adapted to grow in poor, sandy, well-draining soils that are low in organics and not very fertile.
Fertilizer:
Don't fertilize a lemon cypress tree. It's native environment has poor soil conditions, and rich soils will cause quick, uneven growth and could result in an unstable tree.
