Snow Bird's Nest (gum tragacanth), xueyan is resin secreted from trees which has solidified when collected. It is totally natural and nutritious, a natural nourishing delicacy which is the Asian secret to beautiful skin due to the large amount of collagen it contains. The preparation method, taste, texture and nutritional values are similar to the more expensive snow jelly and bird’s nest. The more affordable "Snow Bird's Nest" is becoming popular and known as the “commoners bird’s nest”. Snow Bird's Nest appears to be whitish in colour when dry. When soaked and absorbed sufficient water, it will appear translucent. Our Snow Bird's Nest has little impurities, which are usually the tree bark and dirt that stick to the resin in the nature and during the collection and packing process. However, the impurities can be easily removed, most of the impurities fell off when Snow Bird's Nest is soaked in water and has softens.
