•kaltostat is an external wound dressing designed to absorb exudate and promote haemostasis. it is indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

•kaltostat wound dressings are designed for use under secondary dressings such as gauze or vapour permeable dressings. when kaltostat absorbs exudate, it forms a gel without losing its integrity. therefore, it can be removed in one piece. 

•kaltostat can be used on wounds such as; - pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers and oncology wounds - donor sites, post-surgical incisions, traumatic wounds and superficial burns - local management of bleeding wounds: lacerations, abrasions, nose bleeds, dental extractions, and after surgical wound debridement.
