•kaltostat wound dressings are designed for use under secondary dressings such as gauze or vapour permeable dressings. when kaltostat absorbs exudate, it forms a gel without losing its integrity. therefore, it can be removed in one piece.
•kaltostat can be used on wounds such as; - pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers and oncology wounds - donor sites, post-surgical incisions, traumatic wounds and superficial burns - local management of bleeding wounds: lacerations, abrasions, nose bleeds, dental extractions, and after surgical wound debridement.
