The kaaba Qibla Compass has both the standard 0 - 360 degree scale, as well as the 0 - 400 scale used in conjunction with a table of major cities for determination of the Qiblah.
The Qibla Compass includes an instruction booklet that has a list of cities and the Qibla code associated with each city in the range of 0 to 400.
Because of changes in the earth's magnetic variation, the numbers change about every 10 years.
We maintain an updated list of the Qibla Compass Numbers for 1200 cities worldwide.
To use the Qibla Compass to determine the direction of Mecca, first look up the Qibla code for your location.
Then rotate the compass until the red North end of the compass needle points to the number of your location.
The Minaret pointer (located at 0) on the Qibla Compass then points in the direction of Mecca.
