Description: Thuja is a genus of coniferous trees in the Cupressaceae (cypress family). There are five species in the genus, two native to North America and three native to eastern Asia. The genus is monophyletic and sister to Thujopsis.

Care Guide:

Watering: Thuja plants are low-maintenance and do not need much care to thrive. To prevent common Thuja problems such as browning, make sure to water properly and feed with a liquid fertiliser. As a rule of thumb, most Thuja cultivars under 3 years of age will do well if watered every other day.
