Here’s a simple method for making popcorn on the stovetop:
Ingredients:

1/4 cup popcorn kernels
•
2 tablespoons cooking oil (vegetable, canola, or coconut oil)
•
Salt or seasoning (optional)
Instructions:

Heat Oil: In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.

Test the Oil: Drop 2-3 popcorn kernels into the pot. When they pop, the oil is ready.
•
Add Kernels: Add 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels to the pot. Cover with a lid.
•
Pop the Corn: Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning. Continue until the popping slows down (about 2-3 minutes).
