What is Feliway?Feliway is a synthetic copy of the reassuring pheromone naturally spread by cats. Feliway can help to create a safe, familiar environment for your cat, preventing unwanted behaviour such as stress, spraying, and aggression. Cats are sensitive to changes in their environment. Feliway may be the solution for stress caused by visits to the vet, fireworks, moving home, introducing a new family member, or changing the furniture around.

 

Feliway Spray for catsFeliway Spray is ideal for use in specific indoor locations and in places where the Feliway Diffuser cannot be used, such as in the car, travel basket or at the vet. Feliway Spray can be used in addition to the diffuser, or where additional treatment is desired, such as in the litter box or around the cat flap. Spray the area where the cat scratches or sprays (after thorough cleaning!) once a day with 6 doses of spray for at least one month, or until the cat begins to mark the area with its head.

 

Feliway Classic DiffuserThe Feliway diffuser is a plug-in bottle that should be installed in a plug socket. This product looks just like commonly used air fresheners and diffusers

 

Feliway Friends, 'Fighters become friends!'- The Feliway Friends diffuser is developed specifically for households with more than one cat.- The diffuser emits an odourless pheromone: the Cat Appeasing Pheromone (CAP). This pheromone is naturally produced by a nursing mother to make her kittens feel safe and secure, and to promote a bond between them.- Feliway Friends helps reduce tension between cats and restores the balance in multi-cat households.- The Feliway Friends and the Feliway Classic can be used simultaneously when you notice that your cats display other behavioural problems as well, such as urinating in the house, fear and scratching.

How to use- One Feliway diffuser can be used for the treatment of one area of max. 70 m².- When the cats occupy more than one room, there needs to be a diffuser in all rooms.- It is recommended that this product is used for 3 to 4 weeks for optimal results.- To achieve optimal performance the manufacturer recommends to not place the diffuser in a socket under shelves or behind doors, curtains or furniture.- For optimum use, the manufacturer recommends the diffuser not be installed in a socket under furniture as the vapour will not have enough space to spread out and may stain any objects above the diffuser.- The Feliway Diffuser does not work optimally if plugged into an extension cord.
