DuoDERM Hydroactive Sterile Gel

It is a clear, preservative-free, viscous hydrogel that incorporates a unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation that distinguishes it from other hydrocolloid dressings.

It is indicated for management of partial & full-thickness wounds, ideally as filler for dry cavity wounds to provide moist healing environment.

It is a sterile gel composed of natural hydrocolloids(pectin, sodium arboxymethylcellulose) in a clear, viscous vehicle.

It forms moist wound environment that is supportive of healing process by aiding autolytic debridement and allowing non-traumatic removal of secondary dressing without damaging newly formed tissue.

It is designed for hydration and management of partial and full-thickness wounds such as pressure sores, leg ulcers, and diabetic ulcers.

Tips Store at up to 25o C; avoid freezing. For single use.

This product is supplied sterile.

If the immediate product packaging is damaged, do not use.

Don't use on individuals with known sensitivity to gel or its components.

How to Use

1. Cleanse the wound site, rinse well and dry the surrounding skin.

2. Unscrew the tube cap and remove the white safety ring.

3. Replace the cap to puncture the tube membrane.

4. Apply DuoDERM Gel directly into the wound. Do not fill the wound beyond level of surrounding skin.

5. DuoDERM Gel should be changed when the cover dressing leaks or is removed for routine dressing changes.
