Product description
While they were designed to saw pipe stock made of a wide variety of materials, these handsaws from the manufacturer Z-Saw are truly universal saws. Apart from pipes they are also suitable for sawing all kinds of profile and other materials. They are pull-cut saws, so that delicate pipes and profiles with thin walls are less prone to deformation when being cut. The saw blades are noticeably wider than those of conventional bow saws, so that run-out is less of a problem. The saw blades for PVC and copper are impulse-hardened for a long service life, the saw blade for iron is made of HSS. The blades and handles of the saws can be interchanged freely, resulting in cost-effective use of blades which you only need occasionally. Replacement blades can be ordered singly.
The saw for PVC is also suitable for other materials. You can use it to cut polypropylene (PP), thermoplastics (ABS), acrylics, plasterboard, wood, bamboo and polyethylene (PE).
