Insert blind filter in portafilter and add up to 1/2 teaspoon (3g) of Cafiza Powder. 2. Insert portafilter into group head 3. Activate brew cycle for 10 seconds & Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat this step for 5 times and then Remove portafilter. 4. Activate brew cycle and rinse portafilter in a stream of water from group head. Stop cycle and Insert portafilter into group head. 5. Activate brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times 6. Make and discard a cup of espresso to ensure no residue remains PORTAFILTER CLEANING BY SOAKING: Soak filters and the metal parts of the portafilter for 30 minutes in 1 teaspoon (6g) of Cafiza Powder per 1L of hot water. Rinse with clean hot water ️️UREX DEZCAL️️ Dezcal powder should be used every 3-6 months, depending on the hardness of your water and frequency of use. The build-up of mineral scale is a threat to the performance and durability of coffee and espresso machines. Mineral scale build-up can impact your machine’s boiler, preventing water from reaching its optimal brewing temperature. Mineral scale build-up can also clog water flow, and if not removed, can cause a machine to stop working. Descaling removes the mineral scale build-up that forms on the heating element of all coffee equipment. Dezcal Descaling Powder is odor free and rinses away thoroughly, unlike vinegar which can be difficult to rinse, takes longer to be effective and leaves behind an unpleasant odor and aftertaste that affects the aroma and taste of your coffee. INSTRUCTION FOR USE: 1. Prepare powder solution with ratio 1oz(28g) DEZCAL power into 32oz(1 Liters) cold clean water 2. Fill the reservoir with the powder solution 3. Run the solution through the machine. 4. Fill the reservoir with clean water and run it through the machine. 5. Repeat Step 4 twice more. TIP: Wet a cloth with the Cafiza Powder solution and wipe down spray heads, then wipe clean with a fresh cloth. Caution: Solution may be very hot Notes: 1.
