2- Pack Epoxy Primer is a high build two component epoxy resin-based primer cured by polyamide activator. It has excellent adhesion on wide range of substrate, thus when combines with epoxy and polyurethane as subsequent coating, provides abrasion resistance paint film that protect against atmosphere and marine environment, and resistant to general chemicals.

USES

As primer and intermediate coat of the epoxy and polyurethane system. Suitable for use on concrete and steel surfaces where high degree of chemicals, oil and abrasion resistance is required.

Product Application:

2-Pack Epoxy Primer MUST be mixed with Epoxy Hardener V125 at 4 to 1 ratio (by volume) before use. No thinning is required. Stir mixture thoroughly before use. However, 25% of thinner can be added for workability.

Surface Preparation: Concrete Surface

Remove all previous coating and chalk by light abrasive blasting. If abrasive blasting is not available, etch the new and uncoated concrete surface with about 5% sulphuric acid solution followed by thorough rinsing with clean water. Allow the surface to dry completely prior to paint application.
