Product description
Product Description: Canesten cream contains the active ingredient clotrimazole, an antifungal medicine which is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal infection of the tissues adjacent to the nails, fungal infection of the skin folds & erythrasma (skin redness/irritation).
Direction of Use: Apply thinly and evenly to the affected areas two or three times daily and rubbed in gently. A strip of cream (½ cm long) is enough to treat an area of about the size of the hand. Cautions: If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Patients should notify their physician if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment.
How long to use it? Athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal infection of the tissues adjacent to the nails, fungal infections of the skin folds: 3-4 weeks or as directed by physicians. Erythrasma (skin redness/irritation): 2-4 weeks or as directed by physicians. White spots: 1-3 weeks or as directed by physicians.
Warnings:
-Always read the label and the medical information provided with the product.
-For external use only.
-Seek medical attention if having widespread infection and secondary symptoms.
-Keep out of reach of children.
