Hydrogen Test (PH) Instructions:
•Rinse the test vial and fill it to the marked level with a water sample.
•Add 4 drops of red phenol solution to the vial.
•Place the cap on the vial and shake it to mix the solution.
•Compare the color of the solution in the vial with the scale values provided.The scale values represent the pH condition or alkalinity of the water.For comfortable water and a reduction in the use of chemical products, the reading should be between 7.2 and 7.6.
Chlorine Test (CL) Instructions:
•Rinse the test vial and fill it to the marked level with a water sample.
•Add 4 drops of OTO (Orthotolidine) solution to the vial.
•Place the cap on the vial and shake it to mix the solution.
•Compare the color of the solution in the vial with the scale values provided.The scale values represent the quantity of chlorine combined with water.For effective treatment, the reading should be between 1.0 and 1.5.
