Product description
What is non-woven gauze?
Non-woven gauze is made from fibers that are pressed together to resemble a weave but are not actually woven together. This gives non-woven gauze higher absorbency and wicking capacity than woven gauze. Most non-woven gauze is made from synthetic fibers, such as rayon, polyester or a blend of these.
Normal Gauze swabs are typically used in first response to injuries. They are made from simple cotton weave and this makes them ideal for cleaning a wound and stemming and absorbing blood and exudate fluids from a wound.
Ideal for cleaning wounds, these swabs are a great alternative to cotton wool and a must-have in any First-Aid Kit.
