Product description
•Pack Size : 45 / 105 coated tablets
•Reg. No : MAL19911904XZ
•Composition : Each coated tablet contains 5mg of bisacodyl.
•Indications : Acute constipation : atonic, spastic, constipation due to hemorrhoids, changes of nutrition. Chronic constipation : habitual, constipation in bed-ridden patients. Evacuation of the colon in preparation for the radiologic examination or surgical operation of the abdomen.
•Side effects : As with any laxative, abdominal cramps are occasionally noted, particularly in seberely constipated individuals.
•Dosage :
Adult : 1 to 2 coated tablets at bedtime.
Children 3 to 15 years : 1 coated tablet daily as a rule administration of bisacodyl to children should not
exceed 10 days.
•Precautions :
Bisacodyl coated tablets should be swallowed whole, with some liquid. Care is advised with its administration to pregnant women and nursing mothers since it may penetrate placenta and human milk.
