3M Primer 4298UV can be used in a wide variety of applications. It was developed to be used in conjunction with 3M VHB tapes to increase the bonding strength of the tape. It has become a popular tool to assist in applying automotive vinyl wraps. Will increase the bond between vinyl wraps and nearly anything where a strong, durable bond is required. 3M Tape Primer 4298UV can be used to promote adhesion of 3M tapes to surfaces such polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces.

️How to Use️

- Shake 3M primer 4298UV well before using.

- Leave the primer for a few minutes before applying tape. This is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature.

For Remove/Clean-up:

1. 3M primer 4298UV can be removed with isopropyl alcohol. Vigorous scrubbing may be required.

1. The tissue is to help you apply the adhesion promoter on the targeted surface more conveniently.
