Rugantino Tomato
Rugantino Tomato is a late-maturing variety of salad type. It has a complex inflorescence and small medium-sized leaves. The fruit itself is very similar in shape to a ribbed pumpkin. The tomato has an average density and a rich red color during maturation. This is a fairly large fruit with a delicious taste.
A famous curiously shaped Italian oxheart tomato. “These big tomatoes bottom heavy shape reminiscent of a pouch with a gathered top.” ‘Ragutino’ is one of the tastiest saucing tomatoes, with dense flesh and lustrous orange red skin. Indeterminate variety that needs staling or trellising. Good disease resistance package.
