brine shrimp hatching method
1. Soak brine shrimp eggs in fresh water first (no more than 1 hour), the hatching rate of brine shrimp eggs after soaking is higher
2. In the incubator, hatch according to the ratio of 1 liter of water/2 grams of brine shrimp/15g of salt, too much brine shrimp will affect the hatching rate
3. Insert an oxygen tube into the incubator to keep the shrimp eggs in suspension in the water. The recommended water temperature is 28-30°C. During the hatching period, the surface of the salt water should be kept at 2000 lux of light. The hatching process generally takes 18-24 hours. The actual situation shall prevail
4. After hatching, stop inflating and stand still for 10-15 minutes to observe that the water is divided into three layers, from top to bottom are hatched empty shells, red cloudy brine shrimp larvae, and the bottom is unhatched shrimp eggs
5 Use 60mesh plankton net/silk cloth for collection; siphon principle can also be used to suck out larvae into the collection net; brine shrimp larvae have phototaxis, and the light can also be placed on the side of the incubator to attract them to achieve the best separation effect for collection .
