Get a quality recorder that is easier to play with Yamaha’s YRS-23Y Soprano 3-Piece Recorder. Its intonation makes it the perfect recorder for all levels. Using ABS resin, Yamaha has designed an extremely durable instrument for children and classrooms. ABS resin makes this recorder incredibly sturdy while also making it very light weight. It uses German Fingering which can be easier for new players to learn because it does not use the “forked” fingering for F.

This recorder uses three-piece construction which offers numerous advantages:-They’re easy to clean and dry.-Fingering can be adjusted to fit player’s hands by slightly swiveling pieces.-To improve intonation the foot joint’s position can be altered.-To ensure children are not playing their recorder when they are supposed to be listening, teachers can have students remove the head joint when they’re practicing their fingering.
