Product description
Folic acid is used to treat and prevent folate deficiency. Folic acid may also be used in women of child-bearing age and pregnant women. This vitamin may be used to treat other conditions as decided by your doctor.
Benefits

-Take 3 months prior planning to conceive.
-Small tablet for easy consumption.
-Essential nutrient before & during pregnancy
-For healthy red blood cells
Dosage
-Folic acid may be given in an initial dose of 10 to 20 mg daily for 14 days or until a haemopoietic response is obtained in the treatment of megaloblastic anaemia.
-The maintenance dose is 2.5 to 10 mg per day.
-Depending on the degree of the deficiency, children may be given 5 to 15 mg per day.
-During the first trimester of pregnancy, folic acid at a dose of 5 mg daily may be given as a maintenance dose.
How To Use Sunward Folic Acid 5mg Tablet 10s (strip)
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
