1. Why need to check for both HIV and syphilis?

Both HIV and syphilis can be asymptomatic at early stages. This means that you may not experience any symptoms, but you can still pass the infection on to others.

2. What are the consequences if HIV and syphilis left untreated?

If left untreated, both infections can cause serious health problems. Syphilis can cause neuralgic problems, eye problems, and even blindness if not treated . HIV, on the other hand, can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and other life-threatening conditions.

3. When should I check for HIV / syphilis?

It is recommended to get tested for HIV and syphilis at least once a year if you are sexually active. However, if you have multiple or anonymous partners, you should get tested more frequently, such as every 3 to 6 months.

4. What is the test window period?

For 3rd generation HIV test kit sold by us, it’s approximately 2-3 months after time of infection.

For syphilis test kit, it’s 2 months after time of infection.

5. What’s the accuracy of the self test kits?

it can detect 99% of samples accurately within the test window period.
