1. Install the instrument on a tripod or stable surface and adjust the instrument.If the instrument is tilted too far out of range (3 degrees), the laser tube will automatically turn off (or sound an alarm).
2. Switch the knob to turn on the instrument clockwise, and the green indicator light on the top of the instrument will light up, while emitting the laser beam.
3. Turn the instrument to aim the laser beam at the target.
4. Gently adjust the knob to find the working direction.
5. When the work is over, turn the switch knob counterclockwise to close the instrument.
