How to identify good and bad quality paracord?
1. Quality - The cross-section area of good quality paracord is round whereas that of a poor quality paracord is flat.
2. Material - Traditional paracord is 100% made of nylon, while others may be made of cheaper materials like PP or polyester.
3. Burn test - Good quality paracord should burn slowly, whereas others will burn quicker when contacted with flames and has strong plastic burning smell.
4. Strength - Poor quality paracord would definitely struggle to withstand 550lbs of weight.
5. Price - If the price is too good to be true, beware!
